Iceland’s Blue Lagoon has a 3-step beauty mask routine that leaves your skin glowing

Travelers from all over the world come to visit Iceland‘s Blue Lagoon. The geothermal pool’s warm waters are rich in minerals like silica and sulfur and can leave your skin glowing if you follow a simple three-step regime.

Iceland’s Blue Lagoon face mask routine consists of a lava scrub, silica mud mask, and algae mask.

The lava scrub is made with lava rocks surrounding the Blue Lagoon. You can use the scrub all over your body to renew tired skin.

The second step is the silica mud mask, and it’s what the Blue Lagoon is most famous for. The milky-white mud can be found at the bottom of the geothermal pool and is supposed to clean skin and reduce pores. Many people find their skin feeling tighter and refreshed after leaving it on for five to 10 minutes.

Lastly, the green algae mask features Blue Lagoon algae and is supposed to reduce lines and wrinkles. The algae found in the Blue Lagoon’s seawater is so unique that it’s patented.

All it takes are three simple steps to get that Blue Lagoon glow.
