You know it’s coming later this fall, and you can try it out early to get a taste of what’s to come.
Apple on Monday officially rolled out the public beta for iOS 11, allowing consumers to test the software out before it becomes available in a few months’ time. The existence of Apple’s public beta program give you and I the chance to play around with software in testing.
Of course, running beta software on your main device doesn’t come without risks. We’ve been running the beta on a device here in the office, and although it works reasonably well, it’s far from finished.
If you’re interested in testing out the iOS 11 public beta, you can head on over to Apple’s beta software website, where you can register to “help make the next releases of iOS, macOS, and tvOS our best yet.”
