Step aside, C-3PO. This little guy over here is the droid someone was looking for — and willing to pay a lot of credits to obtain.

An R2-D2 droid, cobbled together from parts used during the filming of the original Star Wars trilogy, has sold at auction in Los Angeles for $ 2.76 million, The Associated Press reports.

The 43-inch high droid was the most expensive item offered in a sale of movie memorabilia by the Calabasas, Calif.-based Profiles in History. No word on who walked away with R2, or whether he or she was wearing a hooded robe and fending off Jawas.

Other Star Wars items to fetch big money included Luke Skywalker’s lightsaber from the first two films, which sold for $ 450,000, and Darth Vader’s helmet from the original film, which fetched $ 96,000, according to the AP.

A September auction by the same company will feature items from the personal collection of the late Carrie Fisher, who starred as Princess Leia.
