Fun fact: Google Translate seems to think there are no women coders. See for yourself: What’s going on here? Both Malay and Turkish are gender-neutral languages, which means nouns and pronouns can be used for both males and females. So translating English phrases into these languages means the gendered pronoun (“she”) is replaced with a neutral form (“dia” in Malay, “o” in Turkish).
